Published on 14 Oct 2011 in Publications, Resources by authorTogether With Children – For Children: A Guide for Non-governmental Organizations Accompanying Children in CRC Reporting
This book aims to provide practical guidelines for NGO’s in facilitating children’s participation in all aspects of CRC reporting. They were derived from experiences of NGO’s as well as children who have worked together in preparing and submitting reports to the UN Committee on the Rights of the Child. The book provides cases studies, practical materials, check lists and tips that NGO’s may adapt in their own work on supporting children’s participation in human rights monitoring work.
This book should be used in conjunction with another reference entitled, My Pocket Guide to CRC Reporting – A Companion Guide for Children and Adolescents Willing to Tell the United Nations Committee on the Rights of the Child About How Children’s Rights are Respected in their Country.
This book is published by the NGO Group for the Convention on the Rights of Child, a global network of 77 national and international NGO’s working to ensure that all children fully enjoy their rights as defined by the UN CRC.
